We don’t know about you but we couldn’t wait to get into our winter woolies. It’s always such an inviting time of year in Queensland where the Mediscrubs Headquarters is located. With notoriously hot and humid summers, Queensland winter just can’t come around soon enough. And, now that Winter is just around the corner, we have some seasonal tips on what fashionable styles are trending and what you might want to jump into once you finish your shift and get out of your scrubs. The Fuzzy Cardigan! - Cute and cozy, the fuzzy cardigan is a ‘must have’ staple in your wardrobe this year and you can wear it buttoned up, open or even off the shoulder. Patch work - Yes it’s back and it's coming in HOT! Patch work looks amazing especially on Denim where you can create a unique style within different fabrics and stitching. Dramatic Puff Sleeves - When you finish your shift and if you're heading straight out?.....Move from Scrubs to Puff Sleeves! Puff sleeves are back and they are puffier and bigger than ever! They look stylish and dramatic at the same time and we just love them. Turtle neck - Let’s be honest, the good old turtle neck is always a classic staple to have in your wardrobe. You can wear it with cropped jeans and flats or add some heels to dress to impress! You may even be lucky enough to fit a turtle neck under your scrubs to keep you warm at work. Luxe Hoodies - Hoodies are comfortable and cosy and we all know scrubs are comfortable too, so why not jump into a Luxe Hoody after work? Team up cosy with luxury and you will look amazing, on point and be ridiculously comfortable. Chunky Boots - The boot trend for winter is very much the chunky boots and you can get them in ankle, mid calf or knee high. Not only will you be warm but your chunky boots will remain comfortable all night long. Bootcut Jeans - Oh yeah baby the 90’s trend is back and they are on point, chic and fun. Best thing is that they are exactly as they were in 1994 and are perfect for styling with a Luxe Hoodie, denim jacket or that amazing turtle neck. Winter 2021 will only be here for a few more months so we recommend you enjoy the snug, cosy fashion trends while it’s here. Have fun shopping and enjoy your ‘out of scrubs’ time in style!
